Creating a Nervous System Friendly Website
When working on a website project, I bring my own experience and training of working in a trauma-informed and Nervous System-friendly way. I bring this approach into my work with you, the business owner, as well as in the way I set up the pages. It might sound strange at first, but I’m sure we’ve all experienced going onto someone’s website and straight away feeling stressed and overwhelmed just by looking at it.
Our website is a representation of us, our work and our business. The first impression for clients often starts on our website and we want to give them a positive experience. This means for example not overwhelming them with information and having an inviting, clear layout, colours and fonts.

- for myself and my clients. It is such a user-friendly platform, easy to navigate for yourself and your clients. Offering lots of templates, drag-and-drop editor, personalisation options - making it super simple to create a professional-looking website as well as easy to maintain without all the tech stress.
What to expect when building your website

Initially we will meet for a free Consultation Call. This is a great way to get to know each other, for me to understand your needs and expectations, to answer any questions you might have and for both of us to see if we are a good fit to work together. There is no obligation for you to go ahead after this call.

If you are happy to go ahead, you will receive a contract outlining services, rates, confidentiality and other terms.
A 50% deposit is required at this stage. -
We will meet again for a Project Plan Meeting to discuss more details on how you would like your website to look and what functionalities you want it to have.
I will ask you to send me inspirations of other websites to get a better understanding of what you are looking for.
At this stage I will also ask you to send me copy (content) for the website pages, your brand colours and any images you would like to be used.
- Don’t worry you won’t need all of this straight away, we can gradually work through the pages. -
With all this information, I will go ahead with designing your website. This is usually a gradual process, starting with a couple of first pages, getting your feedback and then continuing to design the pages.
I work in a very collaborative way as I know that your website is a very personal project - making sure that I implement your vision and that you are 100% happy with your new website. -
Towards the end, there are usually some final tweaks - adding links, adapting the phone view, setting up SEO - and making any outstanding changes that you would like.

Once the website is complete, I will offer you guidance on how to use different functionalities and how you can continuously update pages when needed.

This completes the website set up, with the final amount of the project fee due.
After this, I offer 1 month follow up support if any questions come up.
